We will gather to witness the rising sun. At this time of Samhain, every sunrise became all the more poignant. Samhain, literally Summers end, heralded the arrival of the dark time of year, and the diminishing of the light. As we face the coming winter, we bask in each rising sun, drinking in the light to sustain and carry us forward. Each dawn is a symbol of hope, and we look always to the eternal return of light as we journey around the sun. The work at this time is complete, the harvest gathered in. It is a time to pause and reflect, to gather in community, to draw in.
