Halloween Events at EPIC Museum

Lú Festival of Light

28th-31st October and 2nd-5th November


Lú Festival of light is taking place daily in Drogheda at the Old Abbey, St Peter’s Church and St Lawrence’s Gate from the 28th -31st October and 2nd-5th November – check the website for show start times. There will be countdown clocks projected onto the three sites. Lú Festival of Light will showcase 5 Irish myths and legends over the 3 venues through light and sound projections and promises to be a must-see event.

The start times on the website is the kick off time for the first show each night and they will repeat every 15 minutes after that. Feel free to go and see them as many times as you want and on as many days as you want. This a family friendly free event, no booking required – just turn up. Remember as we are in Ireland – make sure to dress for the weather! There will be lots of street entertainment, from fire performers to musicians to balloon modellers, circus performers and lots more. There will also be plenty of chances to get a coffee or hot chocolate from street vendors and from local cafés who are going to stay open late for the festival. Lots of local hospitality venues will have special offers and music for the duration too.

The incredible Celtic Myths and Legends themed light show takes you through an immersive experience as you discover heroes, villains and everything in between.
