Slán Solas means “goodbye light” as Gaeilge. Born on a cold November evening in 2023, we are a mindful community gathering at sunset, outdoors, to breathe, move gently, and be with each other as the day comes to a close. Each gathering brings together slow movement, breathwork and space to simply pause and be, in support of something bigger than ourselves.
At the Púca Festival, we will welcome the arrival of the beginning of winter and the darker half of the year. In Celtic culture and mythology, all things start in the dark, reflecting the cyclical nature of time and the role of darkness in renewal and new creation.
Join us for a special Samhain group gathering with breath work and somatic embodiment. Luc O’Rourke, a flow facilitator of various movement styles, will help us to gently rewild our movement abilities, while the day turns to night.
Meeting point at Púca Festival information hut @ Harvest Market in Trim, We will walk through the Porchfields to a spot overlooking the wild River Boyne
