Meditation at Tlachtga

€30.00 (plus fees)

Description

Samhain is a time of ancestral remembrance. The community assembled, the harvest gathered, a feast prepared. We have reached the threshold where the wheel of theyear well and truly turns. Summer’s end announces Winter’s reign. As we draw in and close and as the business subsides, we begin to appreciate what it has taken to get to this point. We see those assembled and are keenly aware of those who are now absent. As the veils thins, and as we recall, we draw our loved ones close. We reflect on our ancestry, we think of our direct lineage, where we have come from, and the stories that have shaped us, the wisdom passed down. The slower time gives us pause and time to remember. Collectively as we walk this land we share in the ancestral traditions of this place, handed down through song and story. Our footprints become part of the story along the path that future generations will tread.
