By the Light of the Silvery Moon – A special evening of Irish Stories told through words, sounds and music storyteller/seanchai – Aindrias de Staic & multi-instrumentalist and foley artist, Moises Mas Garcia.

This show will uncover an ancient path by the Bardic Irish Storyteller Aindrias de Staic. Strongly influenced by previous bards like Raifteri an File, Brian Merriman and Aindrias MacCruitín, this show will see the wandering bard, with his rustic violin and other such accompaniment travel the roads of Ireland telling tales and short stories to eager audiences. As John Moriarty said before “ Under every motorway there is a road, under every road there is a path, under every path is a trail, under every trail there are horses hooves”. *The Hut at The Edge of The Village* Leading a revival in new Irish storytelling, Aindrias de Staic’s rhythmic and energetic approach to storytelling has won many awards in recent years, including an All-Ireland medal at the Fleadh Cheoil in Mullingar and a Celtic Media Award 2018 in Wales. Aindrias’ style is a fast paced, lively new approach to the ancient Irish art form yet his work is firmly rooted in the traditional storytelling styles of the west of Ireland. Inspired by his work in folklore, nature and the traditional arts, Aindrias brings us on journeys through bumpy roads and hidden boreens through scary scenes and magical places. The great rhythmic accompaniment, brings a fresh new bounce and panache to the Irish stories. This interesting collaboration with Spanish multi-instrumentalist Moise Mas Garcia brings the audience to a magical place beyond the waves where west of the humour and antics of rural Ireland meets the fervour and gusto of Spanish rhythm with blast of Wild Atlantic Wit.
