Description

Legendary band The Waterboys are set to headline the closing night of Púca Festival 2026, taking to the stage at the Púca Big Top on Sunday 1st November.

Led by songwriting master Mike Scott since the 1980s, The Waterboys have built a legendary reputation for their electrifying live performances and genre-defying sound. Their music draws from rock, folk, roots and traditional influences, with a catalogue spanning more than four decades.

Fans can expect a spectacular live set featuring Waterboys classics, rediscovered gems, new directions, drama, improvisation and musical fireworks, with songs from throughout the band’s celebrated career, including early classics such as The Whole of the Moon and music from the landmark This Is the Sea and Fisherman’s Blues eras.

Following the recent release of Atlantic Rain: The Lost Fisherman’s Blues Recordings — a collection of previously unheard songs and recordings from the legendary Fisherman’s Blues sessions — The Waterboys continue to celebrate their remarkable musical legacy while looking firmly to the future.

The Waterboys will close out Halloween weekend at Púca Festival with an unforgettable night of live music.
