Na Rógairí – 3PM-4PM

Na Rógairí are a newly assembled group of some of the finest musicians from Ráth Chairn and surrounding areas. They provide a stunning performance of high energy traditional music combined with traditional sean-nós singing. Kane O’Rourke (fiddle), Nigel Davey (accordion), Chris Leonard (guitar), Saoirse Nic Aogáin (vocals)

Gaoth Aniar – 4pm-5pm

This trio of Uilleann Pipers are some of the finest exponents of Ireland’s indigenous and national instrument. To see one piper is still a relative rarity today, so see three together is an even rarer treat. Diarmaid Ó hAlmhain, Éamon Óg Ó Donnchadha, Éanna Ó Cróinín, (Uilleann Pipes).

Tugann an tríréad píobairí Gaeltachta seo taispeantas den chéad scoth ar cheol an Phíb Uillinn, uirlis dúchasach, náisiúnta na hÉireann. Tá píobairí neamh-choitianta in Éirinn fós, mar sin is fíor annamh go deo go mbíonn triúr máistir ar an uirlis ag seinm le chéile.

Diarmaid Ó hAlmhain, Éamon Óg Ó Donnchadha, Éanna Ó Cróinín, (Uilleann Pipes).
