Description
Join Siobhán Carroll, Naturopath, Herbalist and Priestess of the Sacred Land, on a magical journey to discover the edible and medicinal bounty of plants growing on the Hill of Ward. We will wander,and wonder, at the healing powers of nature, explore some of the mythology and folklore of these plants and if the faeries allow it, we might even get to taste some of nature’s goodies. Warning: you will likely never look at a weed in the same way again!
Experience/tours last approximately 1 hour 30 mins and include music, storytelling, refreshments and bus transfers from Fairgreen Athboy
Note: No parking is available on site, shuttle bus will be provided from Fairgreen in Athboy and this is included in your ticket price.
Pick up point is Athboy Rugby Club, Townspark, Trim Rd, Eightyeight Acres, Athboy, Co. Meath, C15 Y5X6. Please arrive at least 10 mins before scheduled time to check in

As the site is next to a working farm, no dogs are permitted (with the exception of guide dogs)
Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing
Due to uneven terrain the hill is not not suitable for wheelchairs.or pushchairs
