Boann is the Celtic Goddess of Poetry, Fertility, Inspiration, Knowledge and Creativity and one of the Samhain spirits associated with the Púca festival.

According to legend Boann created the Boyne. Learn her stories while floating down the river Boyne and through the medieval capital of the Ancient East.

Experience this unique river tour with Boyne Valley Activities on a historical journey through Trim, the home of more medieval buildings than any other town in Ireland, from the largest Norman castle in Europe, to the oldest unaltered bridge in Ireland.

The landscape is layered with history but the star of this award winning tour is the Boyne. You will see how the river attracted the people that settled here and how it flows through all the history you can see. Not only that, you will get to experience it all from the water which is the way it should be.

You will be paddling the rafts down the river to get a true feeling of being immersed in this magnificent landscape. Buoyancy aids and wellies are provided to keep you safe and dry on the raft and the 8 man rafts are easily navigable for everyone.
