Púca Festival Act Application Form

What we are looking for:

Performers, acts, food and cultural experiences, music and more.

We are also looking for youth groups, theatre groups and performers to be part of our processions and parades.

We want to thread the stories of folklore, samhain and the characters surrounding the festival (the Puca, Morrigan, Fearg Dearg and Boann) throughout the programming.

We’re interested in exciting ideas and concepts that fit with the theme of the Puca festival and Samhain and that authentically connect with Ireland's ancient east and how it can connect with the rest of the world.
Proposals are considered based on how they fit with the programming of the Puca festival as a whole.

Are you running your own independent event for Samhain (Halloween)? We're inviting you to submit details of your events and activities for our online associated events page.

We accept individuals and groups from varying backgrounds and locations from across Meath and Louth: Artists, arts organisations, cultural institutions, parades, festivals, producers, promoters, venues, clubs, galleries, bars, restaurants and businesses throughout Meath.

Event Guidelines

If you wish to submit your event for the Púca associated events page, you must adhere to the following criteria:

This event must be related to Samhain celebrations.

The event cannot be directly sponsored by any third party organisations.

The event title and information must not make any reference to any alcohol company or brand.

The event must be appropriate to Púca festival audiences.

The event itself must be in keeping with the ethos of Púca Festival.

Please understand that we are a small festival team under enormous time pressure. We will do our absolute best to facilitate as many events as we can, but unfortunately cannot respond to individual queries or provide feedback on individual submissions. If your event appears on the website, it has been approved. If it doesn’t appear on the website within 48 hours of being submitted, it means your event has not met the submitting criteria and will not be published on our site.
